Frequently Asked Questions

How long do they last?
Lash extensions will last four to six weeks if you are having them applied for a trip or special occasion.  For longer wear, your lashes will need to be maintained with regular touch up appointments scheduled every three to four weeks.

Will my lash extensions harm my own lashes or cause them to fall out?
Not at all, the life cycle of your own natural lash is 60 to 90 days and since the lash extension does not come into contact with your skin, with proper application and care it will naturally fall off with your own natural lash.

How do I remove my lash extensions?
Do not attempt to remove lash extensions on your own as this can lead to unnecessary loss of your own lashes.  Lash extensions should be professionally removed with a procedure that takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

Can I wear mascara?
In most cases you won’t feel the need to wear mascara.  If you choose to use mascara, make sure you use only water-soluble mascara and avoid coming into contact with the bonded area at the base of the lash.

Are eyelash extensions regulated in my state?
Regulations vary from state to state so be sure check with your specific state board of cosmetology for regulations regarding semi-permanent eyelash extensions prior to registering for a class.
